Brampton’s downtown corner of Main and Wellington has been the site of civic pride and government since the mid 1860s when the former fair grounds were purchased by Peel County to build a courthouse and jail.
Four buildings make up the Peel Heritage Complex in downtown Brampton. Together these important structures represent more than 140 years of history and architectural design.
