Printed Family Histories available for reference use at the Region of Peel Archives
With the growth in popularity of genealogical and family history research during the past 30 years, much research has already been done by others. In some cases copies of this previously done research has been donated to local libraries and archives.
The formats are varied and include anything from a few photocopied pages in a binder to embossed hard bound editions.
The following list represents one hundred items available for reference use in the William Perkins Bull Reading Room of the Region of Peel Archives. Please remember that other “family history” type material may be found in books in our Reference Library, as well as in our manuscript documents (i.e. the William Perkins Bull collection and the Mary Manning papers).
If you have produced a family history, or have one that was produced many years ago by another family member, and it contains information about people who have lived in Peel please consider donating it, or even a photocopy of it, to the Region of Peel Archives.
