Working in partnership with Coptic Patriarchate Church of Archangel Michael and St. Tekla, a new affordable housing building will be constructed for seniors. This apartment building features one and two-bedroom units to meet the needs of seniors in the community and is located at 12065 Hurontario Street North, Brampton.
Construction is underway with occupancy slated for 2012.
The project is funded by a partnership between the Government of Canada, the Government of Ontario and the Region of Peel — with the Coptic Church providing the land for residential use.
