Summerville Pines celebrated its official opening on April 15, 2005. Owned and operated by the Region of Peel’s social housing corporation Peel Living, the eight-storey brick apartment building provides 136 units of affordable seniors housing. Situated next to Peel Living's Twin Pines community, Summerville Pines represents another successful partnership between the Region of Peel and the community-minded housing developer, Martinway Contracting.
