Ron Jaros names technology as the greatest change he’s witnessed in Planning since he started at the Region 25 years ago. In fact, he jokes that his first introduction to technology was when he had to make more office space for himself by transfering boxes of punch card data to tape just to clear his desk. Now a Planning Manager, Ron is most proud of his group’s award-winning Regional Planning Atlas, which has seen great success as an educational tool in the Region – and it is written on CD!
