Peel Manor Adult Day Service
Day: Mon. to Fri. – 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Evenings: Mon. to Fri. – 1:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Weekends: Sat. and Sun. – 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The Peel Manor Adult Day Service, located at Peel Manor Long Term Care Centre. The Adult Day Service offers comprehensive programs and services for adults with chronic illnesses, physical impairments, and those with dementia and other cognitive impairments in a safe, supervised and caring environment.
The Adult Day Service at Peel Manor offers a variety of programs provided by members of our interprofessional team and other health and recreational service providers. Some of the many interactive and stimulation programs include drumming circle, specialized art programs, and Zumba. We offer therapeutic programs to clients registered in the Adult Day Service such as physiotherapy and occupational therapy. Our interprofessional team provide bathing services, assistance to clients with their activities of daily living, medication management, access to on-site clinics, and health and wellness programs that meet the needs of our clients. We participate in integrated programs with the residents in the long-term care centre and other community service providers on the Peel Manor campus. We have a partnership with the Central West Community Care Access Centre to provide exercise and falls prevention classes for seniors in the community.
