Sheridan Villa
April 2009 redevelopment update
More space, privacy and Internet access for Sheridan Villa residents
Many exciting things are happening at Sheridan Villa these days. The centre continues renovations to create a more modern and spacious environment for the residents and Adult Day Service clients.
Many residents have already moved into their new living space and are enjoying brighter and more private rooms and wider hallways. Each resident home area has its own dining room, designated space for activities, lounge and a terrace.
Residents, families and visitors will soon be able to enjoy spending time in the new main lobby and visiting the renovated Café and Tuck shop.
The centre is open to new admissions.
The redesign project at Sheridan Villa will improve the environment for residents and Adult Day Service participants. All upgrades are being done within the existing building structure. Once construction is completed, Sheridan Villa will operate 142 long-term care beds, a reduction from its current 236 beds.
