905-791-4055, Ext. 2104BRAMPTON FILM CIRCUIT CONTINUES WITH MAELSTRÖM
(Brampton) - Peel Heritage Complex, in partnership with the Toronto Film Festival, presents Maelström, on Thursday, May 3, as part of the Brampton Film Circuit. The show takes place at 7:30 p.m., at the Famous Players SilverCity, Trinity Common Mall, Hwy. 410 and Bovaird Drive in Brampton.
Maelström, directed by Denis Villeneuve, is a visually dazzling and emotionally powerful experience. The film's main character, Bibiane, is an attractive young entrepreneur living the fast life. After a few tragic events, she begins a descent into a personal maelstrom of gigantic proportions. A surprising encounter gives Bibiane another opportunity for life and love. Tickets can be purchased in advance for $5 for members of the Peel Heritage Complex and $7.50 for non-members by calling the Complex at 905-791-4055, Ext. 2150. Tickets are also available on the evening of the performance.
