Shawson Drive Watermain Replacement
A new watermain is being installed on Shawson Drive from Dixie Road to approximately 350 metres west of Datsun Road, in the City of Mississauga. The purpose of the project is to replace an aging watermain. Work started on June 12, 2001. The expected completion date is end of July 2001. During the construction drivers are encouraged to use Britannia Road to access Shawson Drive in order to avoid construction delays.

Steeles Avenue, from Chinguacousy Road to Mississauga Road, is being widened from two to four lanes. The project started June 21, 2001 and is expected to be completed in the Fall 2001. The project also includes the installation of two watermains.
