Thanksgiving Day Holiday Waste Collection Changes
(Brampton) - There will be no waste collection in the Cities of Brampton and Mississauga on Monday, October 8, 2001, due to the Thanksgiving Day holiday. Garbage, recycling boxes and yard waste will be collected one day later that week.
The following is a revised waste collection schedule:
Regular Collection Day Revised Collection Day Monday, October 8 Collect on Tuesday, October 9 Tuesday, October 9 Collect on Wednesday, October 10 Wednesday, October 10 Collect on Thursday, October 11 Thursday, October 11 Collect on Friday, October 12 Friday, October 12 Collect on Saturday, October 13 NOTE: Residents who receive organics collection in Brampton North are reminded that there will be NO CHANGE to the waste collection schedule as a result of the Thanksgiving Day holiday. Garbage, recycling and organics will be collected on your regular waste collection days.
The Britannia Public Waste and Recycling Depot will be closed on Monday, October 8, and will re-open on Tuesday, October 9.
