Healthy Pregnancies Focus of Prenatal Health Fair in Brampton on September 22, 2001
(Brampton) - Healthy pregnancies are the focus of Peel Health's Prenatal Health Fair at Terry Miller Community Centre in Brampton on Saturday, September 22, 2001, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission to the Prenatal Health Fair is FREE.
The Peel Health Prenatal Health Fair provides information for expectant mothers, dads-to-be and people planning a pregnancy. Grandparents and support persons are also welcome.
Good preconception and prenatal health play a vital role in promoting healthy pregnancies and healthy babies. The Peel Health Prenatal Health Fair will provide participants with information on a wide range of important pregnancy-related topics, including: pre-conception health, your changing body, exercise, how to recognize pre-term labour, environmental and workplace hazards in pregnancy, healthy eating, vegetarianism, becoming a father, maternity benefits, breastfeeding and more. The event also includes mini-workshops, business exhibits and door prizes.
Terry Miller Community Centre is located in north Brampton at 1250 Williams Parkway (Bramalea Road and Williams Parkway). Another Prenatal Health Fair will be held in Caledon in November.
