Sheridan Villa is Hosting an Open House, Preparing for Major Renovations
(Mississauga) – Sheridan Villa is getting ready for a major makeover. The Region of Peel's largest long-term care home will be undergoing renovations to meet the current standards of the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care. The upgrades will be done within the existing building structure.
Sheridan Villa is inviting residents for an Open House on Tuesday, Oct. 18, from 7 to 9 p.m. to learn more about the project, meet with the architect, see a model bedroom and ask questions. The centre is located at 2460 Truscott Dr. (south of QEW, west of Southdown Rd., east of Winston Churchill Blvd.)
"The new design will include several resident home areas with their own dining and activity spaces and a terrace. All these improvements will make the environment for Sheridan Villa residents and Day Program participants more comfortable and spacious," said Regional Councillor Pat Mullin.
Once renovated, Sheridan Villa will accommodate 142 residents down from 236. Currently, all admissions have been the stopped. For more information, call Sheridan Villa at 905-791-8668.
