Transhelp Service Update During G8/G20

MISSISSAUGA ON. (June 17, 2010) -- During the period of approximately June 24 to June 28, TransHelp expects there to be a significant increase in traffic delays in both the Region of Peel and the City of Toronto due to the G8 and G20 Summit activity. TransHelp passengers visiting, and/or living close to Lester B. Pearson International Airport (LBPIA) should anticipate significant traffic delays. Some roads immediately surrounding LBPIA may be closed. These road closures will be communicated by Peel Regional Police and through the media.

TransHelp offers the following tips for passengers:

  • Bring adequate supply of medication, oxygen, water and food
  • Expect delays to your pick-up time, travel time, and arrival
  • Factor in delays in your trip planning

TransHelp apologizes in advance for any inconveniences that may arise.
