Do You Love Your Tap Water?
BRAMPTON, ON. (Nov. 01, 2012) – Do you wonder about the water that comes out of your tap? Unsure where it comes from and how it gets there? If you want to know more about tap water in Peel, you can now visit peeltapwater.ca.
“Peel’s drinking water is high quality, inexpensive and readily available to homes and businesses,” says Mark Schiller, Executive Director, Water and Wastewater. “There are many misconceptions about tap water, so we are trying to educate people, dispel myths and encourage trust in our drinking water.”
The new website includes information about the source of Peel’s water, water treatment and testing. It dispels common tap water myths and outlines the benefits of choosing tap water. The site also includes tips about how to make tap water more convenient while on-the-go.
“National research studies show that most people are unsure of the source of their water and know very little about its quality,” adds Schiller. “We hope that once you visit the site, you will have learned why Peel can proudly say we love our tap water, and why you should too.”
