| MISSISSAUGA, ONT - In an effort to provide an environment conducive to productive negotiations, Local 966 of the Canadian Union of Public Employees and the Region of Peel have agreed to a media blackout.
The blackout, which takes effect immediately, will continue until 12 noon on Friday, June 29, or earlier if the parties reach tentative agreements.
Accordingly, neither the region nor Local 966 will be issuing any further public statements at this time. |
