BRAMPTON, ON. (July 7, 2012) – Two westbound lanes have been reopened on the QEW from Cawthra Road to Hurontario Street. One westbound lane remains closed, as does the north and southbound on ramps to the QEW at Cawthra Road. The North Service Road is also closed from Asta Drive to Cawthra Road. The closures are in effect due to a watermain break that happened earlier this morning.
Crews are onsite and the repairs are ongoing. An update will be given when the repairs have been completed. Commuters should expect delays or avoid using this area if possible.
