Peel Community Unites for 3rd Annual 5k Run, Walk and Roll

WHAT:  The Region of Peel’s annual Run, Walk and Roll for the United Way is a one-of-a-kind community event featuring a fully accessible 5K race, a unique 1K Kid’s course, a seasonal
costume contest, and a post race celebration and awards ceremony.  Visit Peel5k.ca for more information.
WHO:

 All proceeds from the 5K Run, Walk and Roll benefit the United Way of Peel Region.  Runners, walkers and wheelchair participants of all ages will be joined by notable Canadian athletes including triple jump Canadian champion Michelle Hastick-Cowell, Olympic swimmer Stephen Clarke, and high jump Canadian champion Milt Ottey.

  • 10 a.m. – Walkers start10:30 a.m. – 1K Kid’s Course start
  • 11 a.m. – Awards Ceremony
WHERE: 10 Peel Centre Dr., Parking Lot A (West side of building)
Brampton, ON

Route starts and ends at 10 Peel Centre Dr. in Brampton, travels along Queen Street and through Chinguacousy Park.  Queen Street will be closed for the duration of the event.
