(Feb. 11, 2015) – The Peel Art Gallery, Museum and Archives (PAMA) is the ultimate destination to explore, create and connect this Family Day on Monday, Feb. 16 from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Journey through museum activities, art workshops and exhibitions to discover Peel’s heritage and culture. Visitors can enjoy FREE admission to PAMA all day long.
PAMA Passport Adventure
10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Pick up a PAMA passport adventure kit and use your museum detective magnifying glass and crayons as you explore the following interactive stations:
- Arrive in style and dress up at the passport picture selfie station
- Join together to create a community art mural with local artist Aparna Rangnekar
- Learn that there’s more to know than A to Z as you participate in an ancient African alphabet activity
- Become a cartographer for the day as you create your own adventure land-mapping art piece
Choose Your Own Adventure with the Brampton Library
10 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Libraries are more than just books! Unlock a literary secret and discover the unknown in this library mystery session. Learn how to crack the code and use invisible ink to write top secret messages.
Interactive Green-Screen Adventure
1 - 4 p.m.
Take your journey to the next level as you participate in an interactive green-screen adventure. Join artist Sophy Khon from Paradigm Images Works as he transforms your world into another realm.
