Easter Holiday Service Hours at the Region of Peel

BRAMPTON, ON. (Mar. 27, 2015) - Region of Peel offices and non-emergency services will be closed for Good Friday on April 3. Some Regional offices will remain closed for Easter Monday on April 6

There will be no changes to waste collection services in Brampton and Mississauga due to the Easter holiday. Garbage, yard waste and recyclable materials (blue box and green bin) will be collected on regular collection days during that week.

Residents in Caledon are advised that there will be no waste collection services on Good Friday, April 3. Garbage, week A area yard waste and recycling (blue box and green bin) will be collected the next day Saturday, April 4. Regular waste collection services will resume the week of April 6.

All Community Recycling Centres (CRCs) will be closed on Friday, April 3 and Sunday April 5. CRCs will reopen on Monday, April 6 for regular hours of operation. Bolton CRC reopens for regular hours of operation Tuesday, April 7.

Human Services Reception, Employment Resource Centres, Peel Access to Housing, Service Access and Ontario Works will be closed Friday, April 3 and Monday, April 6, reopening on Tuesday, April 7. Peel Living and Rent Supplement offices will be closed Friday, April 3, reopening on Monday, April 6.

The following Regional offices and services will close and reopen on the following days:

*On Monday, April 6 Healthy Sexuality Clinics will be open; however there will be no sexual health clinic services available except for needle exchange. 

TransHelp service hours will be from 6 a.m. on Friday, April 3 to 1 a.m. the following morning. Service will be provided by taxi vendors, but not available by bus. Regular bus service will resume on Saturday, April 4. Accessible Transportation offices will be closed Friday, April 3 and reopen on Monday, April 6.

The Peel Art Gallery, Museum and Archives (PAMA) will be closed on Friday, April 3, reopening on Saturday, April 4. Visit pama.peelregion.ca for more information on PAMA’s exhibits and programs.
