Civic Holiday Service Hours at the Region of Peel

BRAMPTON, ON. (July 27, 2015) – Region of Peel offices and non-emergency services will be closed for the Civic Holiday on Monday, August 3. 

There will be no waste collection services in Brampton and Mississauga on Monday, August 3 due to the Civic Holiday. Garbage and recyclable materials (blue box, green bin and yard waste in the B week area) will be collected one day later that week. Residents in Caledon are advised that there will be no changes to waste collection services on August 3. Garbage and recycling (blue box, green bin and yard waste in the A week) will be collected on regularly scheduled days during that week.

All Community Recycling Centres (CRCs) will be closed on Monday, August 3 and will reopen on Tuesday, August 4.

TransHelp service hours will be from 6 a.m. on Monday, August 3 to 1 a.m. on Tuesday, August 4. Service will be provided by taxi vendors, but not available by bus. The Accessible Transportation offices will be closed; regular office hours and bus service will resume on Tuesday, August 4. Please contact TransHelp at 905-791-1015 for any questions.

The Peel Art Gallery, Museum and Archives (PAMA) will be closed on Monday, August 3, reopening on Tuesday, August 4.  Visit pama.peelregion.ca for more information on PAMA’s exhibits and programs.

Human Services Reception Service Access
