Free Confidential Paper-shredding Event

BRAMPTON, ON (Aug. 19, 2015) - On Thursday, Aug. 20 from 4 p.m. 8 p.m. at the Fewster and Brampton Community Recycling Centres (CRCs) Peel residents can drop off their confidential papers to be shredded for free at this one-day event.

Residents are encouraged to bring items such as:

  • taxes
  • bills and income statements
  • personal information

Please note: Regular disposal fees apply to all other items.

At any Peel CRC residents can:

  • purchase or exchange blue boxes, green bins, rain barrels and backyard composters;
  • buy compost that can be used to keep gardens healthy and looking their best;
  • pick up garbage tags for any excess curbside waste fees apply; and,
  • drop off reusable goods, recycling, household hazardous waste and excess garbage for proper and safe disposal
