Thanksgiving Service Hours at the Region of Peel
BRAMPTON, ON. (Oct. 6, 2015) – Region of Peel offices and non-emergency services will be closed for Thanksgiving on Monday, Oct. 12 and will re-open Tuesday, Oct. 13.
There will be no waste collection services in Brampton and Mississauga on Monday, Oct. 12 due to the Thanksgiving holiday. Garbage and recyclable materials (blue box, green bin and yard waste)) will be collected one day later that week. Residents in Caledon are advised that there will be no changes to waste collection services. Garbage and recycling (blue box, green bin and yard waste in the A area) will be picked up on the regularly scheduled collection day.
TransHelp service hours on Thanksgiving will be from 6 - 1 a.m. the following morning. Service will be provided by taxi vendors, but not available by bus. The Accessible Transportation offices will be closed; regular office hours and bus service will resume on Tuesday, Oct. 13. Please contact TransHelp at 905-791-1015 for any questions.
The Peel Art Gallery, Museum and Archives (PAMA) will be closed on Monday, Oct. 12 for Thanksgiving, reopening on Tuesday, Oct. 13. Visit pama.peelregion.ca to check out their exciting lineup of exhibitions and activities throughout the month.
All Community Recycling Centres will be closed on Monday, Oct. 12 and will reopen on Tuesday, Oct. 13.
