BRAMPTON, ON (May 16, 2017) - Region of Peel offices and non-emergency services will be closed for Victoria Day on Monday, May 22 and will reopen Tuesday, May 23.
Residents in Brampton, Mississauga and Caledon are advised that there will be no waste collection on Monday, May 22 due to Victoria Day. Waste collection will be one day later that week. All Community Recycling Centres (CRCs) will also be closed on Monday, May 22 and will reopen for regular operating hours on Tuesday, May 23.
Human Services Reception, Employment Resource Centres, Rent Supplement offices, Peel Access to Housing, Service Access, Ontario Works, and Peel Living will be closed Monday, May 22 and reopen on Tuesday, May 23. For Peel Living maintenance requests, contact the 24-hour request line at 905-790-7335.
Emergency homeless shelters will remain open. You can contact them by phone or by using the online†Find a Shelter†tool. For emergencies related to food, medication or personal support, call the Region of Peel at 905-791-7800.

TransHelp service hours will be from 6 a.m. to 1 a.m. on Monday, May 22. The Accessible Transportation offices will be closed; regular office hours will resume on Tuesday, May 23. For more information contact call 905-791-1015.
In celebration of museum month in May, The Peel Art Gallery, Museum and Archives (PAMA)†is offering free general admission on Saturday, May 20 and Sunday, May 21, but will be closed on Monday, May 22. The gallery will reopen on Tuesday, May 23. Visit pama.peelregion.ca for more information on PAMA's exhibits and programs.
