The Region's staff is:

  • ensuring an integrated approach to planning for land use, transportation, infrastructure and finance,
  • developing "complete" communities, where residents can live, work, play, shop and get around in different ways – and have a community for life,
  • working with:
    • local municipalities to meet their communities' planning objectives, and
    • community partners to get their input on where we are going to grow and how people are going to get around, and
  • making it a priority to protect our environment and agriculture resources as we grow.

The Region of Peel works with residents and partners to create a healthy, safe and connected community for life for more than 1.4 million people and approximately 163,000 businesses in the cities of Brampton and Mississauga and the Town of Caledon. Peel's services touch the lives of residents every day.
