Zone 6 Water Reservoir and Feedermain
Environmental Assessment Study

The Region of Peel is conducting a Class Environmental Assessment (EA) for the construction of a water reservoir and feedermain, to service areas of north Brampton and Caledon (known as the Zone 6 water distribution area).

As part of the EA process, you are invited to attend a second Public Open House for the Zone 6 study.

Wednesday May 19, 2010.

Agricultural Resource Centre – Peel Junior Farmers’ Hall
12942 Heart Lake Rd., Caledon

The open house will:

  1. outline the possible areas and routes where the water storage facility and associated feedermain could be located

  2. summarize the process the Region has followed to arrive at this point
    Prior to making a final decision, the Region of Peel is interested in your feedback. Your input will assist the project team in making an informed choice for the final storage facility site and feedermain route.

The study is being conducted according to the requirements outlined under the Municipal Engineer’s Association Municipal Class EA, which is a planning process approved under the Ontario Environmental Assessment Act.
