In accordance with the Municipal Act, 2001 and its associated regulations, notice is hereby given that The Regional Municipality of Peel will hold a Committee of Revision hearing to consider any objections by owners against the proposed local improvement roll and the Region's proposed revisions to the proposed local improvement roll, if any. A copy of the local improvement rolls and the statements of estimated cost may be inspected at the Office of the Regional Clerk, 10 Peel Centre Drive, Suite A, 5th Floor, Mondays to Fridays, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Please note that while the Committee of Revision hearing is open to the public, only the owners of a lot to be specially charged may file an objection. Any owner who wishes to file an objection must do so not later than seven (7) days prior to the September 19, 2013 hearing or on September 12, 2013. Written objections received after the September 12, 2013 deadline will not be accepted.
The agendas and minutes of the Committee of Revision will appear on the Region of Peel Website as a public record of the proceedings, in accordance with the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act.
