Mandate
The mandate of Ontario Works in Peel (OWIP) is to provide employment, financial and support services to assist residents of Peel to attain as independent and as stable a role in the community as possible.
In support of this mandate, the following objectives has been identified:
- Enhance and/or expand client programs to satisfy current demand;
- Improve customer service and access to services;
- Support research, development and piloting of innovative programming;
- Reduce costs and/or generate revenues.
