Outreach
The Peel Outreach team is a responsive, mobile, multi-disciplinary team of professionals who work together with individuals who are homeless or at imminent risk of homelessness. We empower through short-term support, advocacy and referrals and meet people where they are at. Through partnerships with the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA)/Peel Branch, Peel Addiction Assessment and Referral Centre (PAARC), and St. Leonard's Place Peel, we increase accessibility to community services and support people to meet basic needs and increase stability.
The team includes:
- Mental Health Support Staff
- Substance Use Harm Reduction Staff
- Family Transitional Outreach Staff
- Ontario Works in Peel Caseworkers
- Housing Support Worker
