Employment Resource Centres
We offer services to all residents of Peel (including clients of the Region of Peel’s Human Services Department) through two locations:
- erc peel 10 Peel Centre Drive (Brampton)
- erc peel 7120 Hurontario (Mississauga)
These centres provide a wealth of information and referral services to assist you with your needs.
Job seekers can:
- Sign-up for free employment seminars, meet with an employment services worker for help with any career/employment related question; meet guest speakers, and use resources needed to job search such as the internet.
Applicants/clients of the Human Services Department can:
- Apply for social assistance in person by telephone or on-line using a computer
- Explore housing vacancies using viewit.ca
- Use a computer to review www.peelregion.ca to learn about housing options in Peel or discover programs offered by Children’s Services
Free Income Tax Clinics for lower-income individuals, seniors and families.
Each spring, the Region of Peel's Human Services Department, in partnership with the Peel Chapter of the Certified General Accounts of Ontario, offers free Tax Preparation Services for lower-income individuals, seniors and families. This service is offered under the Canada Revenue Agency's Community Volunteer Income Tax Program.

We offer a variety of half-day and full day seminars which will help you to: secure a job; obtain a better job or a second job, help you with career planning, and personal development. Register for a seminar today and get the information you need to perform your job search with greater skill, confidence and effectiveness.

Our Employment Placement Program offers human resources solutions at no cost to you.
We provide businesses in Peel with the right candidates for the job. We will advertise your postings at our three employment resource centres free of charge and refer suitable candidates from a large pool of applicants. If the candidate requires specific training, you may qualify for financial incentives to help offset your training costs.
