Pregnancy Nutritional Allowance for Pregnant Women
Pregnant women in receipt of assistance are eligible for the Pregnancy Nutritional Allowance during their pregnancy.
The Pregnancy Nutritional Allowance will be issued once confirmation of the pregnancy is received by an approved health professional.
Eligible participants will receive the following amount for the Pregnancy Nutritional Allowance:
$40.00 per month
$50.00 per month (non-dairy)
The Pregnancy Nutritional Allowance is issued for each month of the pregnancy beginning the month the pregnancy is confirmed. It is not issued for months prior to the month in which the pregnancy is confirmed and it will end the month the baby is born.
