Vision Care for Dependent Children
Basic vision care is provided for all dependant children. Coverage is provided for the purchase and repair of lenses and frames. Dependent children can receive a new pair of frames and lenses every 3 years and new lens(es) anytime there is a change in prescription. Frames are subject to a maximum amount, however, a more expensive frame may be chosen if the beneficiary agrees to pay the difference in cost directly to the supplier.
