May 22, 2012 was a special day for Peel Regional Paramedic Services. Over 150 people celebrated the official opening of the first of four reporting stations for Peel Paramedics. Guests included: MPP Amrit Mangat; Regional Chair Emil Kolb; Regional Councillors Bonnie Crombie and Paul Palleschi; members of Peel Region's Executive Management Team and Health Leadership Team; and representatives from eight paramedic services in Ontario, Mississauga Fire & Emergency Services and Peel Regional Police. Also featured was an inaugural presentation to Peter F. Dundas, Chief of Peel Regional Paramedic Services, by the 40-member volunteer PRPS Honour Guard.
