PRPS unveils service flag
Peel Regional Paramedic Services (PRPS) officially unveiled and raised its service flag for the first time.
Chief Peter Dundas and Health Services Commissioner Janette Smith stood alongside the service's Honour Guard as Bob Arthur, the most long-standing paramedics within the service raised the flag on behalf of all paramedics.
Additional members of the service looked on as the flag waved with the kind of pride and determination shown by those it represents.
The elements of the flag reflect the identity of the service and include regional, provincial and federal markings.
The flag will fly at all reporting stations and form part of the Colour Guard as they parade at special events.
