Peter Dundas, Chief Peel Regional Paramedic Services and Vikramjeet Mann were on scene serving coffee at the Dixie and Dundas Tim Hortons in support of Camp Day on June 2.
Paramedics Stephanie Chatelain and Ajeetpal Singh were also on scene with their public display booth where they demonstrated proper CPR technique and gave tours of the ambulance and emergency equipment.
“Often dealing with children as patients, it’s important to us that we support Camp Day,” says Chief Peter Dundas, Peel Regional Paramedic Services. “This program allows us to be involved in something that provides the kids in our community the opportunity to grow and learn while having fun.”
All the proceeds from coffee sales on this day are donated to the Tim Horton Children’s Foundation which helps send a child from the local community to one of the Foundation’s six camps.
Thank you to Tim Hortons at 1327 Dundas St. East for letting us take part in this special day.
