2002 Regional Official Plan Strategic Update
Strategic Update Newsletters
The Region of Peel has completed a strategic update of the Regional Official Plan (ROP) through a set of new Regional Official Plan Amendments (ROPA). The ROP is the prime policy document that guides future growth and development within the Region of Peel to the year 2031.
Several means of communication and consultation were employed during the strategic update process to provide information to and gain feedback from target audiences and the general public. This process built a high level of support that has led Regional Council's adoption of the amendments brought forward.
The Newsletters provide you with more details under the five focus areas of the Strategic Update process: Communication, Environment, Human Services, Regional Structure and Transportation.
