Planning Tools and Updates
The Planning and Conservation Land Statute Law Amendment Act, 2006(Bill 51)outlines new tools for planning in Ontario, such as Regional community improvement plans (CIPs) that will require the investigation of potential policy directions to serve as a basis for CIPs.
Due to previous Peel ROP amendments, consolidations and other changes, a housekeeping amendment is also required to correct minor technical and cartographic changes that have occurred since 1996.
