About the Peel Data Centre
Giving You Greater Access
The Peel Data Centre (PDC) is a network of Region of Peel resources managed by the Service Innovation, Information and Technology Department.
The PDC was created to give residents and organizations greater access to insightful data products and a wide range of tabular and spatial data focusing on Peel and the GTA.
Our Primary Goals
We aim to give you:
- Timely and high-quality service
- Access to up-to-date and comprehensive data
- Insightful research, analysis and expertise
How We Achieve These Goals
The Peel Data Centre features content from several Region of Peel business units including Integrated Planning, Development Services, Transportation Planning, Corporate Services, Peel Health, and Human Services.
We produce bulletins and brochures respond to diverse requests for information, and participate in projects such as the Community Data Program.
Other Data Sources
The Peel Data Centre presents and highlights data from a Peel perspective. It is also designed to simplify the process of finding the data you need.
While some of our data has been collected or generated by the Region of Peel, much of it originates from other sources, such as Statistics Canada, Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation and Citizenship and Immigration Canada.
