GO Rail Passenger Survey

GO Transit provides GO train and bus services to the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and several surrounding communities.

The GO Rail Passenger Survey contains data on the age of GO transit riders, parking availability at stations and the modes of transportation that riders use to get to and from stations. Information is collected through questionnaires that are distributed to out-bound passengers at selected rail stations.

During the 2003 survey (the most recent year for which data is available), 40,000 questionnaires were distributed and approximately 10,000 were returned. The next survey will be conducted in November 2005.
