Regional Official Plan
The Region of Peel Official Plan, adopted by Regional
Council on July 11, 1996 through By-law 54-96, was subsequently
approved with modifications by the Minister of Municipal
Affairs and Housing on October 22, 1996 under the legislative
framework of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990 c.P13, as
amended by Bill 20 and its associated Policy Statement.
Appeals of the Plan were referred to the Ontario Municipal
Board (OMB). All phases of the hearing have been concluded.
The November 2005 Office Consolidation of the Region
of Peel Official Plan incorporates the Decisions of
the Ontario Municipal Board on all phases of the Board
hearing as well as Official Plan Amendments 1, 2, 3,
4, 5, 7, 8, 9 and 11. Further information is provided
