Need to know
Weather
The Peel Children’s Water Festival takes place rain or shine. Please ensure that all group members are prepared and dressed appropriately for the weather.
Lunch
Environmental protection is a big part of the Peel Children’s Water Festival theme, and that includes a Litterless Lunch.
We kindly ask that students, teachers and chaperones use reusable food and beverage containers to store lunch, along with reusable cutlery and napkins. Water refill stations are onsite for reusable water bottles.
Food or drink is not available for purchase at the Peel Children’s Water Festival.
Attendees may also want to keep a small knapsack or bag to carry their lunch in with them at all times. A central area for storing lunches may not be available.
Photography and Video
Teachers are asked to ensure that parents/guardians are aware that the Region of Peel may take candid photographs and video of students taking part in Festival activities for promotional purposes.
Disability Accommodations
The Festival encourages and welcomes students with various disabilities. Contact us for more information.
First Aid
Peel Paramedics are available on site for any first aid concerns. Please check your Festival Map for the specific location.
Members of our Safety Team will also be situated throughout the Festival grounds. They will be wearing Festival t-shirts and red caps.
