Construction Work Starting in your Neighborhood

The Region of Peel will be working in your neighborhood in the area shown on the provided map. The construction works are required to remove the exposed portion of an abandoned 450mm concrete sewer pipe and stabilize the Fletcher’s Creek bank to stop the ongoing erosion in the proximity of the existing active 1050mm sanitary trunk sewer.

This work is a part of the Region of Peel’s State of Good Repair Program to upgrade the water and sewer systems capacity and reliability.

R&M Construction the Region of Peel contractor, will be working on the Creek channel and bank restoration adjacent to the sanitary infrastructure, including creek by-pass pumping, and riparian restoration using biotechnical measures such as vegetated buttress, terraseeding, tree and shrub planting.


The Region of Peel provides a safe environment that conforms to the Occupational Health and Safety Act, at all times.


Construction is anticipated to start at the end of August 2016 and be completed by the end of September 2016.

Water Interruption

We do not anticipate any water or sanitary sewer services interruption.
