Replacement of Culvert Located on King Street

We have finished the work. The project is under warranty until Spring 2018.

What are we doing?

  • Replacing culvert as it has reached the end of its service life.
  • Removing an existing concrete culvert and footings.
  • Excavating and installing a new precast concrete box culvert.
  • Works including site preparation, traffic staging, and restoration.

Where?

  • Approximately 200m east of Centerville Creek Road to 200m west of The Gore Road, on King Street. View attched map.

When?

  • Start: July 4th, 2016
  • Finish: October end, 2016, weather permitting.

Working Hours

  • Our contractor’s normal working hours are from 7AM to 6PM, Monday to Friday. The Contractor is permitted to work on Saturdays.
  • These hours are consistent with the local municipality’s bylaws. We understand this may cause some inconvenience, but a shorter working day would mean the project would take longer to complete.

Traffic and Parking Control

  • During the course of the project, one lane will be closed to traffic and one lane will be operational through Portable Traffic Control Signals.
  • Barriers and signs will be placed for safety and direction, as required under the Occupational Health and Safety Act.

Project Updates

  • The Region of Peel will keep you informed of any substantial changes in the project scope or schedule.
  • We are committed to ensuring minimum disruption to your homes and businesses.
  • Please call the project manager or inspector if you have any special needs.
