Old Church Road Reconstruction from Marilyn Street to 700 Meters East of Innis Lake Road

Project Description

The Region of Peel will be undertaking the reconstruction of Old Church Road from Marilyn Street to 700 meters east of Innis Lake Road in the Town of Caledon. View attached map.

Schedule

The work is scheduled to commence on or after April 12th, 2016 and we anticipate the completion of major construction activities by November 2016 with some minor works in 2017.

Traffic and Parking Control

The works will be phased so as to minimize disruption to traffic while still maintaining a safe working environment as required under the Occupational Health and Safety Act.

One lane of traffic in each direction on Old Church Road will be maintained at all times during peak hours. All turning movements will also be accommodated.

For the day time non-peak hours, weekend hours and night work operations a single lane will be maintained with an adequate number of flag persons to direct traffic during construction.

Access from Innis Lake Road, Atchison Drive and Antrim Court to Old Church Road will be maintained during construction.
