Hot Mix Asphalt Resurfacing on Derry Road from Dixie Road to Torbram Road and from Hull Street to Professional Court

We have finished the work. The project is under warranty until December 2017.

Project Description

The Region of Peel will be carrying out the resurfacing of Derry Road East from Dixie Road to Torbram Road and from Hull Street to Professional Court to improve asphalt performance. The work to be done includes, but is not limited to, cold milling, grading, hot mix paving, removal and replacement of curbs, repairs and adjustments to structures, placement of permanent thermoplastic pavement markings, restoration, and minor related works. The work is scheduled to commence on or about May1, 2015 and we anticipate completion of the works by the end of August, weather permitting.

Traffic And Parking Control

The works will be staged to minimize disruption to traffic and businesses. Most work will be undertaken at night time. Temporary lane closures will be required during non-peak hours. Peel Regional Police will be present to direct traffic safely. Emergency access will be maintained at all times. Barriers and signage will be erected to direct traffic safely through the construction zone, as required under the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
