Project update #7
Major Paving Operations - Dundas to QEW
Please be advised that Gazzola Paving re-scheduled Paving Operations on Winston Churchill Boulevard, between North Sheridan Way/Upper Middle Road E and Sheridan Park Drive/Plymouth Drive, in both directions for this weekend, September 10-11, 2016, weather permitting. The intent is to complete placement of top asphalt at both intersections over the weekend.
Paving operations will commence in the Northbound direction, starting North of QEW.
Below is the revised schedule:

The following sequence of events will occur on site:
Southbound direction:
- All Northbound direction traffic will be reduced to a single Northbound slow/curb lane;
- All existing Southbound lanes will be temporarily closed;
- Traffic in the Southbound direction will be transferred at the Intersections via a single lane (median cross-over);
- All temporary Southbound direction traffic will be reduced and put into a single existing Northbound fast lane (on the East side of the centre of the road);
- Existing right/left turning lanes at intersections will be maintained where possible; temporary intersection closures are expected during both day/night operations;
- Pay Duty Peel Regional Police Officers will be on site to assist with traffic control and emergency vehicles at all intersections;
