The Public Works department provides a wide variety of education and outreach opportunities to residents and businesses in the Peel community to raise environmental awareness and promote Public Works’ programs and services.
Community programs are administered through the Public Education & Outreach (PE&O) section with initiatives that include:
- School presentations
- Public Works facility tours
- Peel Water Story
- Peel Children’s Water Festival
- Water Smart Peel
- Community events
To meet the increasing demand for information and promotional material and to accommodate requests for our continued involvement in community events, a Community Request Application Form is required. The form helps PE&O manage and respond to these requests.
