The Region of Peel Public Works Department is committed to environmental stewardship and empowering the community to take responsibility for the environment. As such, the Public Works Community Programs Funding is provided annually by the Region of Peel.
Program funding is geared to assisting organizations with specific, one time projects or with a new program or model of service delivery that responds to emergent, high priority Public Works educational and promotional needs in Peel. The organization must have been incorporated as not for profit and have successfully provided services in Peel for a minimum of two years. Applicants could be sponsored by a lead organization that meets the noted eligibility criteria.
Availability of this type of funding may vary from year to year depending on Regional budget. Funding priorities and specific application guidelines will be identified annually.
All funding for 2006 has been assigned.
