Composting in Peel

We would like to inform Region of Peel residents that as of June, 2013 the Region’s compost delivery program has been cancelled.   We would like to thank program partners and residents who have helped make the composting delivery program a successful one.

We encourage you to continue with the use of compost.  Here are some helpful links to organizations in the community that will service your compost delivery needs.

Residents can also search Canada411 by municipality to find landscapers, nurseries, garden centres and top soil blenders who offer triple mix, compost blends for either pick-up or delivery.

Compost: Nature's Fertilizer

Compost is an earthy, thick, crumbly substance made from decomposing kitchen and yard waste. Compost is nature's fertilizer. It enhances plant growth and makes soil richer and healthier without harming our ecosystem.
