The Clarkson CRC will be the seventh Community Recycling Centre within the Region of Peel and the third for the City of Mississauga. It will serve the residents of Southwest Mississauga and will be located within the premises of the Clarkson Wastewater Treatment Plant on Lakeshore Road W, east of Winston Churchill Blvd. and west of Southdown Road.
The Clarkson CRC layout and design builds on the designs of the existing CRC’s. It will include a drop-off platform for recyclable and non-recyclable materials and a household hazardous waste and reusable goods drop-off area.
Genivar Ontario Inc. will provide design services and construction administration. The preliminary design of this site is under way. Construction to begin 2013 and opening in 2014.
