The Heart Lake CRC will be the sixth Community Recycling Centre within the Region of Peel and the second with the City of Brampton . It will be located on Railside Drive (just west of Hurontario and south of Sandalwood Parkway ).
The Heart Lake CRC will be similar to the existing CRC’s and will include a drop-off platform for recyclable and non-recyclable materials and a household hazardous waste and reusable goods drop-off area.
Genivar Ontario Inc. was awarded the contract for design and construction administration. The Preliminary design of this site has been completed. The next steps involve completing the design and getting the required approvals and permits. Construction to begin 2012 and opening in 2013.
